Requirements:

• cPanel on both servers
• WHM access on the new server (one that the accounts are being moved to)
• Your must have root access on the new server

Instructions:
1. Log into WHM of your new server and create a new account called “MyNewAccount”, or anything else you like for that matter. Remember the FTP address, username (’MyNewAccount’, in this example), and account password. We will need these for later.

2. Log into the cPanel account you are wanting to transfer on the old server.

3. Click on “Backup >> Generate/Download a Full Backup“.

4. Once here, select the backup destination to be “Remote FTP Server” (Step 1).

5. Enter your email address for verification (Step 2), followed by all of the FTP account information for “MyNewAccount”, which we created on the new server.

- Remote Server: new server’s address (Step 3)
- Remote User: MyNewAccount (Step 4)
- Remote Password: MyNewAccount’s password (Step 5)
- Port: 21 (Step 6)

Then, click “Generate Backup“. This may take some time to backup the files, depending on how large the account is. You should receive an email provided in the above info once it is complete.

6. Now, log into SSH on your new server and type in the following commands:

cd /home/restore/public_html

ls

After running the list command above (ls), you should see the tar file of the account on the old server. This means that you have successfully sent the file via FTP to your new server.

7. Now move the tar file to your new server’s /home directory with the following command:

mv tar_file_name /home

8. Now, log into WHM on your new server and navigate to “Backup >> Restore a Full Backup/cpmove file”

Once here, you should see the old account’s username under “Possible cpmove archives found:”.

If you do not, log back into SSH and be sure that the account’s tar file has been moved into /home.

9. Type in the account name in the text field in WHM, which is proceeded by “Enter the username for the account you wish to restore:”.

10. Click “Restore“.
11. Repeated process for additional accounts.

That’s all there is to it! You are done and enjoy your new server.Good luck!

Consumers get a call or e-mail claiming to be from a government agency, such as the IRS or Social Security Administration, that asks for personal information to process a rebate check. These crooks ask consumers to provide personal information like their social security number, bank account number, or other details they can use to commit identity theft. If they resist giving out information, they’re told they cannot receive the rebate unless the information is provided.

Cheap Electronics Scam

Shopping website that appears legit sells electronic products at extremely low prices. The site is so sophisticated, even the most savvy consumer will have a hard time telling it’s a fake. One recent article on PCMag, mentions these scamming sites may be part of a bigger network, since they all have a $500 minimum purchase requirement, and may ask for payment in the form of a Western Union money order to be mailed to a foreign address.

Chatroom Scams

Russian cyber-crooks have developed a software robot that poses as a human in chatrooms. These bots can chat with up to 10 people simultaneously, and easily persuade them to hand over phone numbers, photographs, birthday, address, and other personal information. The site claims “Not a single girl has yet realized that she was communicating with a program!” Information harvested by these bots can be used by fraudsters to carry out various forms of fraud. Unsuspecting victims may also be tricked into visiting a ‘personal site’ that could load malware onto their computers. Sergei Shevchenko, Senior Malware Analyst at PC Tools said CyberLover, “employs highly intelligent and customized dialogue to target users of social networking systems. It can monitor Internet browser activity, automatically recognize and fill in the fields in the web pages, generate keystrokes and mouse clicks, and post messages, URLs, files and photos.”

Local Charity Scams

Fraudsters claiming to be from the local police department or DARE program are calling or approaching private citizens and businesses soliciting donations purporting to benefit police officers. What’s convincing some people into handing over personal and financial information to these imposters is the spoofed number that pops up in the caller ID. Police say many victims have reported a phone number that appears to be from the local police department, so don’t be fooled.

Cancer Cure Scam

As more people turn to the web for medical advice, they’re encountering websites that advertise natural products they claim will prevent or cure everything from cancer to diabetes. Scammers know people are searching for natural remedies online, so they exaggerate the language on their site, and even add a few medical terms to sound legitimate. Oftentimes, they’ll claim their supplies are not sold anywhere else, and sell them at a high price. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a miracle cure for cancer, but these scammers will have you believe there is, and will even discourage you from taking real medicine. The reality is many of these products are not proven, effective, or safe, and the sites are full of false testimonials.

When you see sender email address on email header ,you should know directly if this email is scam activity.

2.They write real good and exactly Paypal email contents,but beware do not click on “Click here to activate your account” link.Why?
Now just move over your mouse cursor to that link and you will see landing page did not send you to paypal address.

Link on status bar when you move over your mouse on “Click here to activate your account” link.

So what to do if you receive an email like this

• DO NOT OR EVEN TRY respond to the email or enter any personal information. If you’ve already entered information, quickly reported to Paypal.
• Forward the email to spoof@paypal.com and PayPal will immediately work to shut down the scam site.
• Forward the email to spam@uce.gov and The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) will place your email in a database and use the combined information to track down and prosecute the scammer.
